By the conclusion of 2015, District Bishop Alfred Mahlomola Mogwera (Former businessman) of the ALL Christians Church of Zion found himself bereft of a place of worship due to the prevalent struggles faced by many devout African Christians concerning detrimental spiritual practices and negative religious customs (1 Timothy 6:3-5). This predicament led to a schism and eventual dissolution of the church. Bishop Mogwera, choosing to uphold his integrity and avoid being perceived as a disruptor or opportunist, opted to part ways with the congregation. Though approached in private by members of the Diepkloof assembly, he graciously declined the proposition of forming a new church with them.
Among other accomplishments, Bishop Mogwera successfully obtained and passed the Marriage Officer Certificate through SAUCIC, expanding the pastoral network and forging new friendships and affiliations.
The onset of 2020 marked a significant turning point as Bishop Mogwera discovered that Miss Mogotsi hosted regular prayer gatherings at her residence with other devout individuals. Eager to participate, he insisted on joining them.
Deacon Mputsong Johanna Nkwe has been a stalwart member of the church since its inception, demonstrating unwavering commitment and humility. A remarkable leader, she diligently delves into the scriptures, selflessly dedicating herself to the service of the Lord.
A profoundly devout and modest servant of God, she made the courageous decision to leave the cultic movement and embrace Jesus wholeheartedly. Since then, she has remained steadfast in her faith.
As a young couple, we encountered significant obstacles in our marriage. My husband's behavior was less than ideal; he showed a lack of respect towards me and neglected both me and our children. I was on the verge of giving up, but divine intervention came in the form of a spiritual mentor who suggested that we seek marriage counseling. Upon discussing this with my husband, we both agreed to participate in a three-week counseling program led by Bishop Mogwera. Under his guidance, we learned the necessary skills to foster a harmonious family dynamic. Today, I am proud to say that we have achieved happiness as a family unit. My husband now demonstrates respect, love, and care towards us. I strongly recommend that couples consider marriage counseling before contemplating separation, as it can be incredibly beneficial and enlightening in addressing challenges that may have previously seemed insurmountable.
Since the inception of our church, my spiritual discernment has been graciously bestowed upon me by the Divine unlike before the church was formed. I am now capable of discerning any spiritual entity that presents itself to me and discerning whether it emanates from the Divine. Many spiritual practitioners lack this insight and merely convey messages without realizing that some messages may not originate from the Divine but from deceitful spirits seeking to mislead. It is imperative to comprehend that prophecy is not about personal acclaim and recognition, but rather about aiding, admonishing, and identifying any challenges that others may be encountering. Furthermore, it is crucial to recognize that while certain spirits may accurately prophesy and perform miracles, discerning between spirits is vital. The Holy Spirit does not demand payment for assistance, so if a purported prophet offers to pray for you in exchange for a fee, it is advisable to swiftly distance yourself. Nothing can deter me from serving the Divine within the United Apostles Church.
